Who Are We Looking For?
We're excited to invite nonprofit organizations and local resources to join us at our second annual Anime Fan and Fitness Festival. We're looking for organizations that provide support in areas such as health, education, youth programs, mental health, food access and more.
Frequently Asked Questions:
How much does it cost to vend as a nonprofit or local resource?
There is NO COST to vend as as nonprofit or local resource. We deeply value and appreciate nonprofits and local resources. These organizations are the heart of our communities who can provide vital services and offer support where it's needed most. Just like the heroes from our favorite anime series, they are the heroes of our community.
What is considered a nonprofit or local resource?
If you apply as a nonprofit, we will request proof for 501(c)(3) status. If you are applying as a local resource, we will review your application and determine if your organization fits our criteria. Please see below for the nonprofits and local resources who attended our inaugural event.
Humane Society Silicon Valley (nonprofit) - Animal shelter
Psyche for Geeks (nonprofit) - Mental health
Garlic City Ruckers (nonprofit) - Community based fitness club
Xios Fitness (resource) - Local gym sharing information on strength and conditioning
One Tribe Multisport (resource) - Bay Area triathlon club sharing information on triathlon
City of Gilroy Recreation (resource) - Offers recreation programs and hosts local events
Is this event indoors or outdoors?
This is an outdoor event that will take place on a large grass field. Please plan accordingly.
What does the vendor layout look like?
While the official vendor layout has not yet been finalized, we can confirm that vendors will form a single file perimiter of the event space and everyone's booth will have a clear, unobstructed view. Food vendors will all be placed in a specified row to allow convenient viewing and ordering for our guests.
I'm just starting out as a small nonprofit organization and this will be my first event. Can I still apply?
Absolutely! As long as your business aligns with our theme, we would love to have you start your vendor adventure with us at our second annual event.
When will we receive our booth placement?
We will send out a map of our festival and your booth placement at least one week ahead before the event.
