This anime inspired fight fit workout, Boxing Rookie can help warriors learn and fine-tune some of the boxing basics similar to how Ippo started his boxing quest.


Before Ippo became an elite boxer, he was the shy and quiet kid who got bullied in school. After being saved from a beat down from Takamura, Ippo was inspired by Takamura to take up boxing. Although, Takamura saw the potential in Ippo, Ippo still had a lot to learn. This Hajime No Ippo fight fit workout, Boxing Rookie, can help warriors learn some of the boxing offense skills and fine-tune them to perform like Ippo himself.

Workout Benefits:

Learn basic boxing punches

Improve cardiovascular endurance

Improve muscular endurance

Improve explosive power


Workout Implementation:

To maintain balance between all other training practices, it’s recommended to complete a fight fit workout at least 2-3x/week at minimum.


Training Equipment:

Punching Bag

Boxing Gloves

Handwraps


Warm Up:

Complete a 5 minute warm up or complete Initial Mile's Total Body Warm Up.


Cool Down:

Complete a 5 minute cool down or complete Initial Mile's Chi Flow Yoga Routine.


The Workout:

Round 1: Jab + Jab + Cross

Round 2: Jab + Cross + Hook + Cross

Round 3: Jab + Cross + Hook + Uppercut


Coach Notes:

  • Always return each punch back to the chin.

  • Always keep non-punching hand at face for defense.

  • Keep chin tucked down and both fists at chin when not executing punches.
