This anime inspired fight fit workout, Muscle vs. Magic, can help warriors learn how to move and fight like Mashle's, Mash Burnedead.


This anime inspired fight fit workout was inspired by Mash Burndead from the Mashle anime series. As non-wizard living in a wizard school, Mash defeats magical spells and takes on some of the most powerful wizards with the muscular strength, endurance, speed and fight skills he's honed by following his personal training regimen. This fight fit workout, Muscle vs. Magic can help warriors move and fight like the non-wizarding warrior, Mash!


Who's This For?

Suitable for intermediate levels


Workout Benefits:

Improve fight skills

Practice intermediate fight skills

Improve cardiovascular endurance

Improve muscular endurance and strength


Workout Implementation:

To maintain balance between all other training practices, it’s recommended to complete a fight fit workout at least 3x/week at minimum.


Training Equipment:

Punching Bag

Boxing Gloves

Hand wraps


Warm Up:

Complete a 5 minute warm up or complete Initial Mile's Total Body Warm Up.


Cool Down:

Complete a 5 minute cool down or complete Initial Mile's Chi Flow Yoga Routine.


The Workout:

Round 1: Jab + Cross + Right and Left Knee + Flying Punch + Axe Kick

Round 2: Jab + Right Round House Kick + Cross + L Round House Kick + Flying Knee

Round 3: Jab + Cross + Spin Hook Kick

Clinch Exercise: Dumbbell Swings


Coach Notes:

  • When executing punches, always return each punch back to your chin.

  • Pivot the grounded foot when executing the round house kick.

  • Look over your shoulder when executing the spin back kick. For example, if you're exectuing a right leg spin back kick, rotate to your right to look over your right shoulder.

  • Do not overturn when executing the spin back kick.

  • Utilize light to medium weight for the endurance chest presses.
