​Join Initial Mile for the second annual fusion event, Run The Manga (Formerly Anime Fan and Fitness Festival), where anime fans and fitness enthusiasts come together for a day of anime fun, fitness activities and entertainment! We’re inviting cosplayers to help bring our course to life!

Is this event indoors or outdoors?

This is an outdoor event that will take place on a large grass field. Please plan accordingly.

How long will I be on course for?

Cosplayers will be at their course station for about 3 hours.​

 

​Do I need to bring my own equipment?

We will provide the backdrop, music, space etc. Cosplayers are responsible for their complete cosplay.​

​

Will there be a soundcheck or rehearsal?

We will not have a day of soundcheck or rehearsal however, we will have a virtual meeting a week before the event to share more details and logistics.​

​

Do I need to submit an audition video?

Yes. All considered cosplayers will be required to send in a video audition.

​

What are the age requirements to perform?

Performers under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent. 

​

Are there any content guidelines or restrictions?

Yes. We want to keep this a family-friendly event. The last thing we would want, is to have Goku shouting profanity language!

What if I need to cancel?

If something comes up and you can no longer perform, please notify us as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

How will I know if I've been selected?

You'll receive an email notification from our team once the selection process is complete.

​

Can I sell my (our) own merchandise at Run The Manga?

Performers are not permitted to sell merchandise at the event unless approved. Please let us know if you plan on selling merchandise by sending us an email.

If approved, you agree to post the event on your social media at least 1x per week beginning 3 months before the event.

If you are interested in marketing yourself, team, group etc. pre and post performance, we will provide performers one 6' table and two chairs however you are responsible for bringing your own marketing material.

All performers agree to attend 3 virtual meetings. One will occur in July, August and the final briefing will occur at least 1 week before the event to review logistics. This meeting is tentatively scheduled for Monday, September 14.
